Dumb question, how can we be down 1Q at -3.56%, up 2Q at 13.17% and be down -17.10% for the year. Am I missing something?

I'm not impressed with the rate of return thus far this year. The stock market has been going gang busters UP since March 9th and we have a negative 17% return? Thanks for posting Dekalb Officers. Will you ever embarass our "representatives" into communicating with us?

Someone better get on top of this pension operation. Remember Jones replaced the head and members during his 8 years. So compare the figures here to the market itself and see what the "managers" of the pension fund are doing. I don't think it's a pretty picture. Oh yes, I think Jones himself was on the pension board making these decisions. Can you say YIKES!!!

Who is the police representative on the pension board? Why don't y'all talk to him?

I would love to see any of OUR pension reps post on here with explanations. They ask for OUR votes and then disappear.

I get the feeling that our pension is not being looked after very well. The Dow Jones is + 3000+ points since the low of this year in March. Do they have our investments in a money market acct or what? I agree with some previous posters about why our so called pension representatives do not communicate with us...why is that? They should put out a newsletter every quarter or we will elect someone who will communicate with us.Is Jones still on the pension board? Hope the hell not !!

Typical Dekalb County. Ignore them till they just go away. If you don't like it you can leave....sound familiar? We need to keep on top of our pension and those who were elected to represent us. Why don't they communicate with us?

Just asking a question. Was Jones allowed to buy back time (in our pension) for time served in the General Assembly? If so, why was he allowed to do this and since this is all public record, how much does he get a month for his 8 years of service? and I'd like to know too...seems like the operation of our pension is somewhat secretive isn't it? We should all realize by now that every operation in Dekalb County needs an out side eyeball on it. Ok Dekalb Officers, we are not going to get a response from out pension reps on anything as far as I can see. I apoligize if I am just looking in the wrong places but it should not be this hard to get information of something that we are paying in to and are partners in...am I wrong?..Is it time to put Dekalb Officers on the case?
