I feel truly blessed to have had the honor of working with Sgt. Chris Young. He was one of the greatest officers DeKalb ever produced and one of the best friends I ever had. He was also one of the best outdoorsmen I have ever known. I'll miss you Crazy Crash.

The criminals in DeKalb County let out an audible sigh of relief the day this man retired as a Police Officer. He was "old school" and never took any crap off a criminal....especially the ones within the department. You young officers should take a lesson from him. Another great one has passed.

Sorry to hear this and wish the best for his family. He was a real police back when DeKalb County was still a good place to work.

God speed.

I didn't work with Sgt. Young, but it sounds like he was a stand up officer.

May you rest in peace and your family take comfort in knowing you are now in the secure embrace of our Lord.
