Ofcourse hes a damn liar, did anyone think different.
I personally sat and listened Major Farley, and Lt Flim Flam Flimister at that time say " Shit we in charge of this Mother F'er now", and then proceed to laugh about it.
Now what would one think they were talking about, it dosent take a scientist to fiqure this one out boys.
Just listen to them on their own audio tape talking. They were so damn stupid they taped themselves with a voice recorder that they had taken away from another officer.
Did anyone forget about this. They were put in place by Vernon to do just what he wanted, help make the administartion more darker.
Reverse discrimination at its best, hell I can almost understand it.
'Dont condon it but I can see where the anger comes from. Its human nature to want to get revenge and some payback.
News flash though your paying back the wrong generation. Todays society had nothing to do with the past.
But never the less here we are trying to pick up the pieces that Vernon left behind.
It will take 10 years to clean up the mess and by then I will be sitting on the porch with Ol Ethel.
So im thinking about leaving this web page, never to return again.
Im thinking it's bad for my health I wake up just to see what I can read, I need to spend my time with Ethel not you maggots.
After all she will be the responsible for wipeing my ass when I get older and cant do it myself.

I was there in the so called good old days and unfortunately caught the beginnings of the Tebo days and I cannot fault Ethels post on this subject. Hopefully Dekalb will be restored.
Exhibit D revealing the despicable, racially-biased conversation between Morris & Stone just makes you want to throw up! Such trash! Is it any wonder to ANYONE why our county is in such a pathetic state? I hope all of you people who continued to vote for and support Jones even though the truth finally came out about him and his ruthless ways long before his was unable to run again for CEO, feel very proud of yourselves. Don't open your mouths to complain about our sad state of financial affairs --it's just a cryin' shame that you who continued to believe that he was the greatest thing since sliced bread, can't be singled out to pay double taxes in this county! You all must feel very proud of yourselves that you are able to join the ranks of those who lay claim to having made sure DeKalb residents would never, ever forget good ole Vernon. How are you going to feel when you call 911 and expect one of our fine officers to answer your call for help as quickly as they possibly can only to have the call response time delayed due to manpower shortage as a result of...you guessed it...NO MONEY IN THE BUDGET to allow them to keep the incentives they were promised when they were hired and, with items such as holiday pay gone, among other things,they were forced to resign and go to an agency where they would make enough to support themselves and their families. And why is that? Oh well, once again, that ole common demoninator: Vernon Jones. And to you Vernon: always remember: tapes don't lie . If we thought Cynthia McKinney was a total embarrassment while in Congress, sadly enough, we "ain't seen nothing yet" should he be elected. And that sorry SOB still believes he was the best thing that ever happened to DeKalb County residents. What a freakin' idiot! Bet he surely wishes he still had that entourage of body guards who used to watch his back because some of these facts being revealed in Fed. Court are more than enough to incite anger in the best of human beings. What comes 'round, goes 'round and there's one out there with your name on it.
Mates, I cannot tell you how disturbed I am by "exhibit D". I know the history behind it, and it is sordid on many unspoken levels.
But to read the words only reinforce my observations of what goes on as politics and hiring practices in DeKalb Government and probably the school system too.
Reading Robin McDonalds's article yesterday was just as bad. You had to work at DeKalb to understand it. The pervasive intimidation and fear of saying no to Vern for fear of losing one's job. Reading Verns testimony of fairyland BS about how good Vernon ran the county (into the ground) is really more than I can take, along with his insufferable arrogance.
I find it interesting that the stories in the AJC appear sympathetic to Vernon and appear to leave out a lot of evidence and detail of the trial. I thought the AJC was a champion standing up to discrimination in the past. I guess it depends on who is discriminating against whom.
Well, LoFlyer, the AJC has sucked (BIG time) for a long, really long, time. I don't even consider it a real source of news nor do I even look at it online anymore (been at least 10 years since I picked up a hard copy) - does anyone really pay attention to anything they say?????
