I'm not against raising money for a good cause but I am against giving our enemies any more ammo against us using this completely innacurate stereotype

Anon 1 - I'm afraid if it's not this, it would be something else. The best defense is to learn to laugh about it. Look, EVERYONE loves the taste and comfort of a good donut, right? It's just an ignorant way for idiots to pick on you, you know - bully behavior. EVERYONE deserves a break now and then, most of all you, you guys just have the luck to be seen doing it, which causes the petty ignorant people to assume you're not doing what you should be doing. Phhhhttt - who gives a sh!! about people like that.
I plan on driving way out of my way to find a KK tomorrow - if you're there, I'll buy you a donut (and one for me too of course!) Luv ya baby!
P.S. Adam Murphy, please stay home.

With the stunts we pull, we are our own worst enemy...believe me the public doesn't need ammo...

Heh.

When I was a Public Defender in Mag Court, I used to bring donuts if I had to come in late ... I'd go after a bunch of jail visits if I needed to file a motion and ask for something. If I wanted something time-consuming, I'd bring donuts for the court staff just to make sure they were in a good mood.

Second time I brought them in, there's an officer there to take out an arrest warrant and he looks at the donut ... then looks at me. Can I have a donut?

So I said "Of course, officer; but I'll have to warn you, I'm going to have to make about three cop-donut jokes. Just can't help it."

He thought about it for a second, said "Ok." and took a donut.

Hey, free donut.
