Only because of this blog. The pension board and the entire Dekalb Government have to pushed into doing what's right ! They never do it on their own.And whats the deal with Robertson attending pension meetings by phone? Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't he the one that missed the very important meetings about the botched early retirement? I may be wrong on this but that is what I heard. Is this fact?

Read the November minutes.
My investments are doing much better than the DeKalb pension board.
I have to admit I dislike personal investment financial research and handling the accounts.
However my investments over the last several years have outperformed the pension plan investments. With only several hours of effort and zero cost to myself, my investments beat the DeKalb pension system's professional financial managers.
My investments did not just slightly beat the DeKalb pension system investments. I smoked the professionals by 50 percent. With only about two hours research and about six hours of thought. Even with my wrong assumptions on the political situation, I did fifty percent better than the professional financial managers of the DeKalb pension system who receive some serious salaries and cash.
Eight hours work and I am performing better than the professionals over the last several years.
This fracken' sux.
We pay these guys a lot of cash.
If I can beat these guys by fifty percent for only eight hours research and thought,
We are getting ripped off.
Best of luck mates,
KenC

Bragging about 14%. My IRA had a 12mo return of 32% and I'm a idiot. Why do we pay all those investment Bozo's all that money and why do we have to have do damn many of them?

Just follow the money to answer your own question. It's all about kickbacks, investment fees, custodial fees, trust administration fees, and on and on...
