Check Is in the Mail

First we were to get our raise on the first check in July. Then the next. Then the first in August, and now that has been pushed until the second check.

So, are we getting it or not? Are the funds there or not?

Maybe we'll get it the same time we get those cars that are sitting there dry rotting.

Why would you (the employees of the fucked up county) believe anything that is being said? It is the same as our President......If his lips are moving, its going to be a lie.

The Feds can get away with it because that's all they do. The locals lie like carpeting because this what they do best.

You, as employees should know by now that anything that is promised will not come until you see it in black and white on that little piece of paper called the payroll check stub. Until then, keep hoping, watching, and listening for the lies

SANDY SPRINGS POLICE dept. currently has 3 part time positions needed to be filled. Excellent opportunity if you are retiring and want to continue to work.

Hope everyone is investing in PEACE OFFICERS ANNUITY BENEFIT FUND. Get started now if you're not already in. It's your future. Cost about 75 cents a day.
15 years to be vested.

We need P-Cards and live the life on tax payer dollar.

Lies, lies and more lies. This is the norm for DeKalb County. I am very happy that I am not and never have been an employee of this county.

Well I guess we will not be getting a raise , the money was given to more important people and used for more important things. I guess I should have joined Noble instead of the PBA or the FOP. At least maybe I would have gotten a free trip paid for or maybe promoted before the list expires so I don't have to take the test again. I will gladly jump on the coat tail of Alexander if their is anymore room. I see how chief Harris and everyone else is getting promoted and getting anything they want as long as they stroke the good doctors ego. He'll the blimp my pension up tell me where to sign up I don't need morales or pride or integrity just show me the money and give me the biggest glass of kook-aid you have.

The bottom line is, you cannot make this stuff up with the leadership we have in place today.

Folks your raise went away with the tax base that fled DeKalb County when the crooks took over. What little there was left was squandered or just plain stolen by these elected thieves. There are not enough tax payers left in the county that care anything about police protection to make any difference in an election. Wake up! You need to leave, retire, or bend over....take your pick.

July 31st...End of Summer....back to school sales are in full swing and the kids are preparing to go back to school...

Weren't the majority of take home patrol cars to have been assigned by the end of the summer?

Lots of rumors and promises but nothing from the top.

On the FB DeKalb Officers page from March 11 2014, Capt AJ said "158 cars by summer". We are now WELL into summer. Maybe he meant summer 2015? Lol
