Where's My Report?

Thousands, if not tens of thousands of reports are missing in our wonder new RMS.

Who are the clowns behind this?

Fulton County recently discovered they were being hosed by their IT vendors to the tune 14.6 millions dollars.

The difference between DeKalb and Fulton? Fulton County called for an audit. DeKalb won't. Fulton Commissioners are angered and appalled. DeKalb Commissioners would be angered and appalled if there is an audit, with our commissioners track record of corruption and all.

Well it was only a matter of time before this come out. Tritech FBR is worthless.
From the time you log on to complete the report the clock is ticking to the tune of 3 minutes, or else it vanishes like a fart in the wind.
Officer's reports are going to lala land, and as far supervisors uploading well good luck.
From my experience you are lucky to get logged on, complete maybe 2-3 reports before it freezes up and kicks you out.
It's worse than what we ever had, shy of hand writing reports which was quicker and easier.
Someone is getting a kickback I fell certain.

They keep finding new problems every day with this new system. Someone should be fired for approving this new software before it was tested.

Instead of going forward with are going backwards. The original call dispatch program for call dispatched puts our current program in the trash can. Everyone use to be able to pull up calls ,read comments from precinct to precinct. Now we go to the so many step program just to read a call in your own precinct. I welcome anyone who can explain it better.
I hope it will get better. We have all this expensive leadership in place, what do they do?

Look...Dekalb tax payers and voters are just plain damn stupid. Forget it. They don't have the brains to come in out of the rain. The proof is in the puddin as they say...and historical.

Dekalb County will never have an audit. The most embarrassing audit would be one concerning County owned property. Trust me on this one. There is so much missing office, transportation related accessories, parts, audio visual, the list goes on and on. No one wants to face the heat for the pathetic way property has "disappeared" over the years. I speak on the authority of working in a position that had privey to being a fly on the wall, so to speak, for several years before retiring.
