he never made a single arrest while at Dekalb, He was an administrative aid his entire career. he will lie to your face and stab you in the back.
good for him, maybe he will take Chief Yarbrough with him, that would be a morale booster for us all.
He never was a real officer, just an admin junkie for our non-functioning command staff.
He was appointed chief in DeKalb because the commissioners said he would always take their phone calls and not have pass them to aides.
Maybe Conroy will take Lt. Harden with him, especially if he wants fresh baked cookies each day. Conroy allowedvWallace and Harden to kiss his ass publicly every day. We do not need officers like that in command positions.
His career at this department speaks well of his ability for leadership, like what did he ever do but be an administrative aide, or as they called him Lt. Jim at one time. I doubt he ever had a UOF in his file or chase , an arrest would surprise me.
Hoping he takes a lot of his staff with him. Roswell will go the way of DeKalb...low morale, us vs. them and a mass exodus of good officers.
His record is one of running the department into the ground....why would anyone hire him!
DeKalb would be smart to go outside to hire a new chief....one with integrity, morals and a sense of honor...one with the fortitude to do the right thing.
Amazing that a person can join a police department, do absolutely NOTHING his entire career but lie and kiss ass, and then become a chief. Conroy is one of the most dishonest cowards I have ever met. This is what law enforcement is becoming in much of America. Sad.
Sounds like M.Miller is on here again. There is life outside of this department.
Well what did you expect to happen....Conroy gets accidentally shot in the Academy during Hell Night by a LT with the Academy staff who forgot to put blanks in his shot gun....Hell I remember everyone saying...you see that recruit over there....just wait he will be the Chief of this Dept one day because of that and damn if it didn't come true.... The man got groomed all the way up from that night on....Say it ain't so!!
