The job is killer no us along with all the overtime and part time jobs we work. We have no support from the public, the command staff, or the commissioners. I look for the suicides to go up next.
Didn’t the fired officer take a blood test showing zero? Do you want to trust your career on a crappy machine in a county contract “medical” office? So, did he test positive or did he test negative? There is a big problem with that personnel decision!

Its the positive one that gets you fired. The county has zero tolerance unfortunately
Wow....when did the blog go live again...stopped by for grins and giggles and was shocked to see new posts.
I knew about the two off duty... didn't hear about K9.....guess that's why they advertised that there might be an opening.
If the county said machine was wrong , what pandora box would open to all the people fired from the machine. If he appeals and wins then it will be interesting.
Same shit happened to Kenny Dalton, one of the best pilots the county ever had, when he was assigned to 90 many moons ago...random drug test....not many around here that remembers that shit....only thing is he fought the County and sued them on his and not only got his job back but they had to pay him back pay and re-instated him back into 90....where he stayed til he retired, and if I remember correctly the County even had to pay him back for the out of pocket Drug Test and attorney fees. There were several in the Command staff that ended up with EGG on their faces over it....Bunch of GD Punks!!
Dunwoody doesn’t like DeKalb Officers, I understand Dunwoody Officer had attitude ,small city police are like that at times
Appeal to who?....the merit hearings are a joke.
