A Comment From PatsQB

I'm baaaack! Johns Creek is great, except for the trooper hats, but that is my only complaint. Wanna know the best part of Johns Creek? The best part is that it is NOT DeKalb County. We will be hiring again in October.

Also I checked, the Margarita story is true and not a rumor. Apparently the county has gotten lawyers involved and thats why the story hasn't ran.

Who can tell the pictures are stock. I sat in one of those campers for three hours one morning. Thats exactly how they look, marble floors and granite counter tops. They haven't been outfitted for anything remotely useful for police work. They can be used to bus a bunch of officers to a location and citizens can come in to see how nice they are and talk to officers about their concerns. But you can't use them to hold anyone or interview a suspect. There are not laptop capabilities. They are the biggest dog and pony show ever.

I hated that place. Keep your heads up and stay safe! Much Love.

Veteran Officer Says:

J.T,

Congrats on the new assignment with John's Creek.

Congrats to John's Creek.... You've obviously recognized quality that Dekalb has not. I'm sure J.T. is not coming alone.

I hope Dunwoody is taking notes.

Like I've said before....Dekalb has become a training ground for the feds and the local departments around us. Your relatively high badge number bears that out.

When will Dekalb realize they're letting a good department leave one officer at a time?

Officers are putting in their required year and a half to two years and leaving.

Please, give us the leadership and resources that were once the norm.

WeFiveCampers Responds:

Word has it a mixture of 12-15 detectives and officers resigned just this week. And it's only Tuesday!
