Can anyone find out what ol' Shiela E is up to these days? A little "where are they now" episode would be entertaining!

That video clip is an all-time DeKalb County classic. it ranks right up there with Zephora Roberts of the DCSS BOE "I will slug you". They should make a montage, "The Best Moments of DeKalb County".

Speaking of "where are they now", whatever happened to Judge Joy Walker who mismanaged the Recorders Court into near bankruptcy?

after the county paid her half her salary to leave.....probably on the beach laughing all the way to the bank!!!

Hargh! What a joke! Thanks for the laughs BM! Its nice to see some humor on this rather humorless blog!
I actually did a search on Sheila and came up with nothing except for this at Live Apartment fire blog

http://liveapartmentfire.com/2010/02/18/disinformation-officer/

The "raw egg" video is even better than what the BM posted here. Its uncut and Sheila appears even less intelligent for more laughs all around.

I particulary like it when Ellis states "I work 15 hours a day". Word on the street is that Ellis and his staff are the laziest on record.

The comments are kind of funny, I had forgotten I put in my two cents worth and called out Burke Brennon. (I kind of like Burke personally, I suspect he is manipulative but he is professional)

With no hits appearing on the Internet search I can only assume Sheila has never found reemployment as a PIO. Like any other serious profession, word gets around when you are a total screwball as Sheila obviously is. I suspect that she will be found as either a political staffer somewhere or collecting welfare and taking trips to Disney World and paying for it with food stamps after she blew her 50 grand severance on a new BMW. She just seems the type....
Best of luck guys!

Sorry for the after-post, and totally off topic, but if you want to see a totally awesome video of a individual not fracking-up while laying it on the line, this is it!

The next big hosing from the County is right around the corner. Did you catch the email from Boyer about sitting down with employees to discuss the new insurance enrollment coming up. When was the last time the commissioners wanted to sit down with employees to discuss ANYTHING? The meeting is Tuesday Sept. 6th at 17:30, a convenient time for all; NOT.

Whats the deal with Loflyer these days? Has he turned into a pirate with the good ol' "HArgh", and always saying "best of luck mates"? Oh thats right he is pretending he still works for Dekalb and is on a sinking ship. Well pretend no more cause its going down like the Titanic. I'm with M-Outta Here on this one. Throw up the dueces I'm gone like a piece of fried chicken at the Dekalb County Employee Picnic. Thats right gone to another agency and am being treated like Royalty. Thats the way we are supposed to be treated, don't you remember the perps that sang at your academy graduation they sang something like, "you are royalty" yea not in Dekalb. You can refer to me as Deuces! PEACE

Anon 11:30; I will address my mental state, for the last three years with the county, I was a "pirate". We were down to four network engineers, overloaded in work, and little time to fix the problems as they occurred, under the circumstances I became a big believer in personal initiative and fixing problems rather than wait for weeks for approval from management. I found it was far easier to fix the damn problem and ask for forgiveness later.
This eventually caught up to me and I was suspended without pay for a week for my decision that knocked down the INET for 30 minutes in an attempt to solve a network issue.
My director and management chose to suspend me for a week a month before my pending retirement. I found this unacceptable for a variety of reasons and took annual leave for my last month before I retired.
IT Director Black resigned last year just before he was fired for reasons unknown, and I suspect my manager is learning some difficult lessons in pissing off people who know what they are doing instead of standing up for them.
Yes I am a pirate, mates.
So be it.
Hargh!

Ok we have seen this garbage before. So what next... What? If you folks are organized, and you are not. Where do we go from here? "It does no good to go to BOC meetings! So what now?
No real meaning or result will come from this.

It is time for a change. No more being hoodwinked by those that have no care for their fellow sister or brother. To create more furlough days for the ones that have to work tirelessly to keep this city safe. Enough is enough! I am glad to know a fellow Police Officer has stepped up to the plate to give, not just Police Officers a voice, but the common person. Support Gregory Adams. He is officially running for CEO of DeKalb County. You can support, donate and more at www.gregoryadamsforceo.com. Let's work to make DeKalb better! What affects one directly, affects us all indirectly!

Now that's reporting a story!...Thanks wendy! where are you now??

Looked at Greg Adams website, and sent the following comment to his staff,
"Hello guys and gals; My name is Ken Choate and better known as "LoFlyer" on the DeKalb officers speak blog (DOS). Recently retired after 25 years with DeKalb county government as a network engineer. As a field engineer I probably observed just about every aspect of government operations except at the political level.
DeKalb government is seriously messed up. Many of us on the DOS blog have been advocating a reorganization of DeKalb government along the lines of the GSU study initiated by Commissioner Lee May.
What is your position on the subject?
Best regards,
KenC"

I will publish the reply.
Best of luck guys!

Is the issue of the 10 furlough days coming up for a vote in the first meeting of September? and they want us to take 10 unpaid days off by the end of the year? Who can answer this one?

I don't know about you guys, but I got an email today from CEO Ellis thanking me for my service to the county. That email meant so much to me. It made me almost forget that I am losing a holiday that was promised to me when I was hired, that I've lost countless holidays over the last year that I was promised when I was hired, that I was furloughed ten days last year, that I haven't seen a raise in 5 years while his cute little secretary saw her pay go up 30% because he felt she "deserved it." It made me almost forget that the commissioners have been eating on the county's dime during all of this time, that no one has been held accountable for the almost $80 million an audit found was missing from Recorder's Court, that no one has been held accountable for the millions of dollars in uncollected water bills, the millions of dollars the country lost out on because entry level people in the tax commissioners office who aren't authorized to purchase coffee for the office were giving tax waivers to their friends. It made me almost forget about the nearly $70,000 sent to the two companies, both of which were one man operations owned and operated by the same man, a friend of rubber check writing commissioner Sutton. That email made me almost forget about how much money Sheila Edwards was paid to leave and keep her mouth shut because she was a stupid, classless, worthless piece of trash. That was one hell of an email! It made me almost forget all of those things. But then I remembered: the CEO and the BOC would literally take a shit on us if they thought they could get away with it.

Funny how this blog, generated by P.D., has turned into a b#t*h session, supposedly concerned about employees benifits, yet officers do nothing to further their cause...just talkin
