The Results Of Liberalism Within The Command Staff

Hmmm...n I get a 40 hr suspension for calling a MPO a BITCH..Next time I should take it out on an innocent civilian..I don't mind a minor 10 hr for an excessive beat down...only in DEKALB COUNTY!

Anonymous said...

@ 11:16 I guess it would piss you off to know that a similar incident to yours was swept under the rug at East...I guess it pays to be a female in DKPD.

Anonymous said...

Anyone know the officers that wrote the statements against him? That might answer some of this right away. One of them has been suspended more than Crumpton in a much shorter timeframe.

At 10:12..um..not exactly because I AM a female...I'm just not one of the ones who walk around with extra tight ass pants and yard long eyelashes or claws for nails and I especially DON'T kiss any anybody's ass....so no actually it DOESN'T always pay to be a female...oh and no I'm not gay either...

Anonymous said...

I'd hate to be responsible for supervising these idiots. Can you say "vicarious liability." DeKalb County will lose what money they have left for negligent retention in this case.

Anonymous said...

And at East you can cry to your Sgt as a Rookie and then a Veteran MPO gets counseled on it...this makes a lot of sense!

Anonymous said...

How much time does one get off for calling a superior officer a MF ?

Anonymous said...

You guys sound like a bunch of little girls. "He called me a name." Grow up and work it out like adult police officers.

I'm Just Saying said...

Oh come on all of you Anon Posters here is yet another chance to beat the Command Staff down and yet there are only 2 post. What gives?

Anonymous said...

@1116...Guess you called the wrong MPO a bitch huh...shut up and do your job rookie. Guess that time off you got didn't teach you any respect.

The video.... I get an error code so I'll just have to guess.

Dekalb govt is a total joke and Dekalb PD will look like Fulton PD after a few more cities are formed over the next couple of years.

I predicts Dekalb PD will be under 400 total sworn in 10 years or less.

Dekalb has hired too many people who in Gwinnett or Cobb would have had their application tossed into the garbage can.

This officer needs to be relieved of his duties and arrested immediately. If a citizen was to do this type of behavior to a police officer, the entire police department would be trying to hunt that person down. I am glad the good officers of DKPD are starting to speak up and call this out for what it is. No wonder every new city makes creating a police department their first priority.

@1243...I am an MPO...Been here over 10 years...

Anonymous said...

So who's interested in promotion to sergeant? Isn't that 5% worth this kind of liability? For me, no thanks.

Sarge with regret. said...

Not just the liability but the lack of support makes the stripes not worth just 5%!...I'm not convinced that it was worth 10%.... all accountability and responsibility stop with the sergeants who have little support and are quick to be tossed under the bus by lieutenants who need a scapegoat for their incompetence, laziness and arrogance.

I had a LOT more written but have deleted now three times. Honestly.... I have told one of my MPO's that I wouldn't do it again.

Anonymous said...

5% isn't enough to be first to work and last to leave EVERY DAY in this dump.

Anonymous said...

A fine example of what Dekalb County retains after PFP, no raises going on 5 years now, discriminatory promotional exams, and creating a deadened of a job environment.

Do you realize how many great officers and supervisors have quit Deklab County and moved on?

Who do you think stays working for such a place?

This is typical of the brass not following through and firing officers when the Sgt's recommend it! Seen it happen on more than one occasion.
For some reason they don't trust the judgment of the line supervisor that has been watching these sorry ass officers. Did this guy work for Higgy? Looks like a Higgy disciple.

Anonymous said...

No anon 745 pay attention to the video, Higzilla was the one that wanted him fired.

Anonymous said...

The biggest problem is that an idiot officer like this puts good officers at risk, while we lose respect in the community and breach the trust of the people we are supposed to protect. Command staff should have listened to line officers that know what is going on and dismissed Crumtpon before he could do this to someone else. Now DeKalb will pay our more money for bad decisions and will say they cannot afford reasonable pay for good officers. Backing good officers is one thing, covering for idiots like this is inexcusable.

DKPD has always been corrupt. Now they have run out of money and more is exposed. Promotions have always been "fixed". Rank has been bought, promoting bozos that couldn't run a drive-in window. Ranking officers stealing big tag items from the property room. The murder of officer David Corn??? My message to young officers, run, don't walk from this suckhole. I was 22 years too late to do it.

Anonymous said...

Actually some believe this officer's no nonsense style of policing is what used to be mandatory at DKPD. Can't really blame him for what was instilled in him via training long ago. Policing in general has gone soft and the perps know it. Look at all increases in assaults on officers recently. Perps know they can push us a lot farther than previously and do to our detriment.

You guys (and gals) need to relax. So quick to trust the media. I know Crump, worked with him for a few years at Center, and I'd choose to have him in my corner any day of the week. The story looks bad because the media wants it to look bad. If any of you want to talk shit about him, do it to his face before you post it on here...p*$$ie$.

You're suggesting that if an officer saw another officer do something in violation of possible state and federal laws he/she should keep his/her mouth shut? For what? So, he/she can go down for it; too? Give me a break! I guess you would take one for the team and protect all the thugs then?

Anonymous said...

The FBI is probably slowest LE agency on planet earth....often taking years and even decades to strike and drop the federal hammer...but when they do their case is so thorough that they almost always get major convictions and take down those once thought untouchable.
You can bet your ass, the FBI's public corruption unit has a cases open in Dekalb government, including the PD. Id bet a years pay on it.

Unfortunately though being a stupid democrat who runs a county into financial ruin....isn't a criminal offense.

Anonymous said...

Dekalb is an example of what happens when bad apples are allowed to remain.

Most departments would have fired this guy years ago along with many others who work for Dekalb.

Anonymous said...

How bout looking at the file of the female Officer who lied about the incident. She should have been fired long ago and put in the psyc ward.

Anonymous said...

let me tell you about how bad it looks, he was recommended for termination and chief bolton didnt like the a white administrator firing a black officer. I guess we should have 1 black chief 1 white chief this race thing is a joke

Anonymous said...

Well, this just brings back the question of what happened to the thug who asked the Occupy crowd to help him stay in his home that he didn't pay for????
Did he get fired yet????

"You guys (and gals) need to relax. So quick to trust the media. I know Crump, worked with him for a few years at Center, and I'd choose to have him in my corner any day of the week."

A big +1 on that!

Dirty M: I agree. I also worked for a couple of years with Crump. Yup, he got a lot of complaints, and almost all of them from the Drug thugs he would J1 to try and get out of the charge. He can be a hothead, but even several years ago when I worked with him he was "slowing down" on his arrests cause of all the bullshit complaints. I definitely don't want someone to cover up for him, but unless you were there you DON'T know the true story. Bottom Line - if you want to believe everything Channel "let's hang a DeKalb cop" 2 says you really need to rethink you job options.

Anonymous said...

Did I miss the announcement for Chief O's next "round table '.... I don't remember seeing it.

Anonymous said...

Anon 1:59 If the female officer lied about the incident..well the incident occurred in Oct 2010..a whole DAMN year went by...n then some so I know several other officers that were 10-42 for lying about incidents in just 2011..so what exactly did she lie about that her chain of command..internal affairs and the chief over looked? AND I do recall their being SEVERAL other witnesses at the scene that confirmed her statement but I guess that she had a meeting at enzos with those witnesses to collaborate..such an remarkable story..I guess next time she should have done what you would probably have and LIED...Ur a IDIOT..every one has stuff on their files..just like your (hiding behind a blog a**)...does...If you feel sooo strongly about her and her LIES ON CRUMPTON..maybe you should go talk to her...and pleeeeaaase don't even come with the BS that she's a female that's why she gets a pass..because if she did then u wouldn't have a file to discuss..bottom line do some research before u talk SHIT on a blog... I don't see hee on any admin leave for months....

Gee, I wonder who Anon 8:18 pm could be. Would someone please teach here the difference between "their" and "there?"

I expect to read that kind of garbage in statements I take from perps, not from officers.

Anonymous said...

Hmm.. Anon 1106 "would some one please teach here the difference"..did u look at your own statement before you posted it jackass? I think you meant to say her..and since you know who I am come talk to me...I mean is that the best you can do correct my their there errors...I'm glad you know who I am but I guarantee you don't have the balls too...try again..honey

Anonymous said...

Yes, I saw my typo. There's a difference between a typo and being ignorant. Get over yourself. You're nothing special.

Anonymous said...

Anon 1106 You are the one that sounds mighty ignorant right about now. Sounds like your the type of officer that condone wrong doing among our ranks which makes it hard for the rest of us. I'm assuming that you agreed with the incident with the two south precinct officers who are now (if I do remember correctly facing charges) just like you probably agreed or defended the officer at center precinct that recently got arrested? I don't recall the D A ever dropping charges regarding a perp that was innocent making the officer look well GUILTY. Really it sounds like you just have some problem with an officer you probably don't know anything about. So with that said how about you take her up on her offer and go talk to her? It might make you feel better since you've taken such an interest and you know so much about her. Facts are facts and they don't lie. I hope that I have passed your grammatical error test that you like to enforce on blog sites. I would hate to be the center of attention in one of your pointless rants. I agree with Anon 515 "grow some balls".

Anonymous said...

Is that a new helicopter on old 34?....

Anonymous said...

You make too many false assumptions. I never said anything about this incident or her statements to IA. I wasn't there, so I am not going to make assumptions, like you. I might end up being wrong, like you. I merely commented on the grammatically challenged post I read right here.

The comments about David Corn always go unanswered, yet, he was one of us and lies in the ground with no justice done. Why??

Corruption has been around for many many years, the only difference now is, they do not care if it is in your face.

You young guys, get out before it is too late.
