Dekalb Police has lost another great officer and Supervisor, It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we remember Lt. John Germano. Rest In Peace our bother in blue.

I’m greatly saddened by the news of Lt. John Germano’s passing. He was a field training officer of mine 30+ years ago and taught me many valuable lessons. We spoke many nights about the importance of continuing college education and investing for the future. RIP Brother!
