Former Dekalb County Police Officer Robert Olson found not guilty on the murder charges. He was found guilty of aggravated assault and violation of oath of office and false statements.
sentencing is set for November 1st

So which wm officer is in batter's box for prosecution there now? Convenience store use of force incident?

Yes people have been known to kill officers with their own weapons during confrontations but you are expected to be in better physical condition and ability than the average person for just such occasions. This did NOT warrant a murder charge which jurors understood. ALL supervisors should also be prepared to back up officers on similar calls now or be prepared for civil suits.

So using the Dekalb standard for everyone else with these charges in that county he should get probation.

The DA is charging another officer with Felony Vehicular Homicide and Reckless driving. the case is coming up soon.

Hopefully he gets probation like every other perp that goes through our court system . Olsens been through enough BS
